Maintenance methods for liquid nitrogen storage tanks
A small amount of liquid nitrogen should be put into the liquid nitrogen tank before use to pre-cool it. When the temperature of the tank reaches the temperature of liquid nitrogen, the liquid nitrogen should be filled into the liquid nitrogen tank. Attention should be paid to the liquid nitrogen tank to gently handle, to prevent bumping and squeezing, can not be dragged on the ground, to lift up. When not in use, the liquid nitrogen storage tank should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated room to prevent wetting.
To check the neck plug and neck plug ditch at any time, timely remove the ice on the neck plug, neck plug can not be placed on the plastic sheet and other substances, increase the blockade, in order to ensure the use of liquid nitrogen storage tank function. When it is found that the consumption rate of liquid nitrogen is too fast or there is water beads and white frost near the neck of the liquid nitrogen storage tank, it indicates that the insulation function of the tank is dysfunctional and can not retain liquid nitrogen. If specimens placed in liquid nitrogen tanks should be well marked, they should be taken and placed steadily, accurately and quickly.
To prevent erosion of the tank walls, the inner cavity of the liquid nitrogen tank needs to be cleaned once a year. Also pay attention to the low temperature tank to minimize transport, and reduce the number of times to open the liquid nitrogen tank. If transportation is required, ropes are attached to the car to keep the tank upright. Prevent falling, overturning, horizontal lying, as far as possible to prevent violent vibration.
