Ammonia Storage Tank
Liquid ammonia storage tank, also known as liquid ammonia storage container, is a specialized pressure vessel designed for storing the ammonia medium.
The stored medium has a saturated vapor pressure of less than or equal to 2.03 MPa at 50°C, with a design pressure typically of 2.16 MPa.
Liquid ammonia storage tanks are mainly divided into two types:
horizontal above-ground (99% market volume) and horizontal underground tanks, They come in various sizes, including 2 cubic meters, 5 cubic meters, 10 cubic meters, 12.5 cubic meters, 15 cubic meters, 18.5 cubic meters, 20 cubic meters, 30 cubic meters, 40 cubic meters, 48 cubic meters, 50 cubic meters, 60 cubic meters, 80 cubic meters, 100 cubic meters, 120 cubic meters, 150 cubic meters, and 200 cubic meters, and can be designed and manufactured according to user requirements for specifications and pipe diameter.

The inspection requirements for liquid ammonia tanks
The requirements include strict quality identification of the pressure-bearing element materials, appearance dimensions, weld quality, operational quality, installation quality, internal devices, and safety attachments. Routine physical and chemical tests are performed on the tank material, including mechanical properties and chemical composition. Strict inspection is conducted on the welded joints, welds, tank heads, and the geometrical positions of each pressure-bearing element through X-ray non-destructive testing and helium mass spectrometer inspection. Testing is performed on the product's sealing, pressure resistance, and all technical indicators that can affect the safe operation of the product. Full-automatic welding technology is used for the product's welds, and the tank body undergoes integral heat treatment and 100% flaw detection. Sandblasting is performed before painting to ensure that the anti-rust paint and topcoat do not peel off.
