The role of the gasifier water jacket
In the furnace body of the gas generator, there is a jacketed boiler with a material of 20g, the main purpose of which is to prevent the slag of coal or ash from sticking to the furnace body during the gasification process and affecting the uniform fall of the material layer. On the other hand, the water jacket can also reduce the heat radiation of the furnace temperature to the outside, and produce low-pressure steam as a by-product, which is used as a gasifier.
In order to maintain the normal water circulation of the jacketed boiler, a steam collector drum (also known as a steam concentrator is provided) on the furnace surface, and a water level gauge, a water inlet device, a safety valve, a steam inlet pipe, etc. are attached. According to the production needs, the working pressure of the jacketed boiler of the generator furnace is set at 2-3 kg/cm², the purpose of which is to achieve steam self-sufficiency in the generator furnace, in addition to supplying the bottom of the furnace for gasification, part of the steam is also used for the steam seal of the fire hole.
The steam output of the jacket boiler, the large gas furnace is generally estimated to produce 25 kg/h of steam per square meter of heating area, such as 3 meters in general, and the heating area of the water jacket is 16 square meters, and it is estimated that it can produce 400 kg/h of steam. The 100 small gas furnace can be estimated at 10 kg/h per square meter, such as the 1.5B type furnace, the heating area of the water jacket is 20 square meters, and the by-product steam can be about 200 kg/h.
The height and width of the water jacket are often different for different gas stoves. In the past, the height of the gas furnace water jacket was limited to the fuel layer part. Its width is 500 mm, the gas production is small, and the whole water jacket structure has a large gas production, which can ensure the self-sufficiency of steam in the entire gas system, and can be used as a winter heating canteen for cooking, artificial showers, etc.
In order to ensure the safe operation of the jacketed boiler, and due to the large width of the jacketed boiler, it is difficult to clean the scale, so the water jacket must use softened water, and its softening hardness is not less than 0.1
