1. Material abrasion problem
The slurry at the bottom of the desulfurization tower contains a large number of solid particles, mainly fly ash and desulfurization medium particles. The particle size is generally 0~400μm, more than 90% is 20~60μm, and the concentration is 5%~28% (mass ratio). These solid particles (Especially A1203 and Si02 particles) are highly abrasive.
2. Strong corrosion problem
In a typical limestone (lime)-gypsum desulfurization process, the pH value of the slurry at the bottom of the tower is generally 5 to 6. After adding the desulfurizer, the pH value can reach 6 to 8.5 (the pH value of the circulating pump slurry depends on the operating conditions of the desulfurization tower. It is related to the adding point of desulfurizer); C- can be enriched to more than 80000mg/L, and under the condition of low p value, it will produce strong corrosiveness
3. Cavitation problem
In the desulfurization system, the slurry transported by the circulation pump often contains a certain amount of gas. In fact, the slurry transported by the centrifugal circulation pump is a gas-solid-liquid multi-phase flow. The influence of the solid phase on the pump performance is continuous and uniform, while the influence of the gas phase on the pump is far more complex and more difficult to predict than that of the solid phase.
